While the GAJA estate is known as a benchmark in the Langhe Valley of Piedmont this is the estate’s first foray into the heart of Tuscany. This is an incredibly lifted Brunello showing great dimension all around from a classic vintage. Ruby in the glass with orange reflections, the nose reveals layers of cinnamon, baking spice, black licorice, and juniper. The palate opens to cool notes of camphor and woodsy spice with cranberry, cherry, red currant, and plum fruit notes all under the hood. Tactile tannins keep your palate longing for more. While gorgeous now this wine will age effortlessly in your cellar for the next 10-20 years.
