This uncommon blend of 80% Gruner Veltliner and 20% Riesling is very dry with snappy notes of green apple, pear, jasmine, and wet stone. The term “hinter der mauer” refers to the row of vines closest to a vineyard terrace and while it’s hard to harvest, the wall gives extra heat for ripening fruit. Limited, small batch.
