Kerner is an under appreciated variety in mountainous Alto Adige and in the deft hands of Franz Gojer it can be stunning! This crossing of Riesling and Schiava is aromatic with a floral nose and notes of ripe pear, melon, and even tropical passionfruit on the palate. Very cool!
