Clos des Feves is a 9.4 acre monopole in the heart of Beaune, planted on clay and limestone soils. The wine is vinified 100% whole cluster and ages for 17 months in oak casks (30% new). This is a powerful Burgundy with crushed blackberry, macerated cherries, licorice, forest floor, and a floral perfume. The palate is dense but with great freshness and purity of fruit. The texture is silky with taut tannins for the long haul. Drink 2024-2040.
