Made by the Augustinian Canons Reguar Monastery founded in 1142, this Gruner Veltliner from the Dolomites (2,000 feet of elevation) shows crunchy citrus, exotic stone fruit, white pepper, green bean, vibrant acidity, and a long finish of gravelly minerality that goes on and on. A gorgeous wine just a stone’s throw from it’s local home in Austria, yet wholly one-of-a-kind. Farmed organically.
