Young, fresh, oaked Chardonnay from brothers Philippe and Christophe. White flowers, lemon curd, peach, and lime blossom with lots of concentration and length on the palate. Aged in a combination of neutral and new oak (no more than 25% new). Extended contact and stirring of the lees (yeast) leads to a fuller body and texture. Excellent structure and acidity. The family’s parcel of Perrieres is east facing and planted on limestone. Pair with crab cakes, halibut in creamy her sauce, or veal cutlet Milanese.
