This bottling from the 75 year-old-vines in the Premier Cru of Butteaux displays incredible depth, length, purity, and finesse. Butteaux is a sub climate of Montmains and typically showcases the richer side of Chablis. The left bank of the Serein River is known for its Kimmeridgian clay soils, which impart a recognizable minerality of seashells and salinity. This age worthy offering displays notes of white flowers, lemon curd, citrus confit, green apple, peach, and toasty richness. Lots of acidity and tension provide great cut to this medium bodied and mouthwatering Chardonnay.
