We adore the single vineyard bottlings from Charles Smith, and this is a terrific example. Pure Grenache sourced from the cobblestone soils of the Powerline Vineyard.  A restrained ruby color in the glass is deceptive as this Grenache packs a lot of flavor. Powerful yet elegant with pure red fruit character accompanied by subtle earth, barrel spice and forest floor. Aged in neutral French oak. Sustainable farming. The K Vintner line is always very limited and makes great gifts.
