From one of the oldest soleras in Jerez dating back to 1790! Named after the Capuchin monks living in Jerez, this VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) is at least 60 years old, twice the guaranteed minimum to meet the category’s aging requirements. This is a 25 barrel solera with only 1.5% drawn from each barrel annually. Bright mahogany in color with an intense nose of incense, sandalwood, quince, hazelnut, and coffee. The palate is powerful and persistent with an incredible salinity from the limestone of the albariza soils. A rare gem of a Palo Cortado and a true treat for the tastebuds.
