The Ferraud’s have been a vine growing family in this region since 1670, with titles to their earliest vineyards dating back to 1733. This is classic, old school CdP from a great vintage. The aromas are spicy and savory featuring notes of garrigue, violets, herbs de Provence, and smoked meat. The palate exudes layers of complexity with polished raspberry, cherry, and plum fruit flavors plus notes of leather, black pepper, and stones. There is a level of poise to this wine that will ensure it’s success in the cellar for many, many years to come.
