David Ramey has crafted another stunner with this beautifully powerful and structured offering from cool climate sites within the Russian River Valley. The palate exudes aromas of green apple, lemon curd, ginger, and pie crust. On the palate the wine balances the richness of a year’s aging in 10% new French oak with a chalky, mineral laden finish you’d expect from Burgundy. Beautiful now but can age a decade.
